Programs and Services, we hope you enjoy!
NEW - U3A Course – Helping your Grandchildren with Homework. The Neighbourhood Centre has been asked to start a Homework Club and is looking for volunteers to start the group and help the children. If you are interested please ring Sheena on 49470031
NEW – Justice of the Peace service available – Monday, Wednesday – Friday 9am-2pm
NEW – BNC Op Shop each Wednesday afternoon 1-3pm by donation
6th Feb (Monday) - Basic Computer Skills Class – Cost $20 for 4 Weeks 1-3pm
Starting 13 February – Lifeskills for Blokes – kitchen basics. A fun no pressure Hands on class including lunch. Cost $10 (2nd & 4th Monday of each month)
NEW – 14th February (Tuesday) – Are you a Parent Struggling with your Teen? Parenting information group with a different guest speaker each week 7pm start. Cost $10 for 7 weeks and includes light supper.
NEW – 15th February (Wednesday) - "New Year… New Job?" – 5 week job ready course with ES recruitment. Cost $20 for 5 weeks. 11am – 12.30pm includes morning tea.
NEW – 2nd March (Friday) - Compost Basics – free workshop in the Community Garden 9.30am start
7th March (Wednesday) - Basic Computer Skills Class – Cost $20 for 4 Weeks 10am-12pm
NEW – 23rd March (Friday) - Texting from your Mobile Phone – bring your mobile phone 10am-12pm FREE Workshop
NEW – 5th April (Thursday) - The Happy Project – Workshop for Women, share sayings and mantras to regain your positive outlook. Morning tea provided. 9am – 10am Cost $5
11 April (Wednesday) - Easter Holiday fun with Michelle Maries Cakes – Toddler cupcakes 10am – 12pm and Cupcakes for kids 5-9 years old 1pm – 3pm. Cost $15 per child. All ingredients included and a take home pack. Bookings Essential.

28th April – BBQ Fundraiser at Belmont Bunnings – See you there!
The purpose of Belmont Neighbourhood Centre Inc is:
*To develop and co-ordinate activities and services in response to the needs of the area
*To promote the involvement of volunteers in the management and operations of the centre
*To provide the basic infrastructure, facilities and support for initiation and development of new services, networks and common groups
*To provide information, referral and advocacy services for disadvantaged groups and socially isolated individuals with few resources
*To promote the development of integrated and accessible services for local residents
New Program Initiative Supporting Our Community
Belmont Neighbourhood Centre is proud to announce the launch of the Belmont Men's Shed & Community Garden.
The program will incorporate the existing Habitat in Harmony garden with a Men's Shed and increased activities and community involvement.
