Blue Tongue Lizard in the garden.

We have a family of blue tongue lizards in our garden! These gentle creatures make short work of snails and slugs, including their eggs, providing great pest control.

The garden volunteers discovered that they really like strawberries and there could be as many as three in our garden, hiding amongst the shrubs.

They do cause quite a stir, when they occasionally give unsuspecting visitors a fright. Rest assured, they are harmless and very tame.
